Porsche and Hyundai Create Unique Driving Experiences in Singapore

Recently, Porsche announced Singapore as its 11th Porsche Experience Centre worldwide. It complements the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS) in establishing Singapore as a driving experience hub.

Upcoming Porsche Experience Centre

The new Porsche Experience Centre (PEC) will feature a dynamic two-kilometre handling track where visitors can test-drive Porsche cars at speeds of 200 km per hour. It is set to be operational in Singapore in 2027.

The two-kilometre handling track promises to be a fast yet safe playground for Porsche customers and enthusiasts to test Porsche sports cars. It will be the ideal arena to showcase the capabilities of the entire range of Porsche offerings.

The configuration is yet to be confirmed, but where feasible, it also may include an off-roading section and even a skid pan.

This is the world’s first PEC designed specifically to thrill and exhilarate South-east Asia’s first PEC and Singapore’s first-ever permanent driving-focused facility.

Moreover, passionate Porsche fans may look forward to themed exhibitions, rotating displays featuring iconic cars from the Porsche Museum’s archives, immersive racing simulators, inclusive and engaging activities for the whole family, and a delectable variety of dining options.

PEC Singapore will also pioneer a fully integrated, high-capacity aftersales facility. This feature, unprecedented in any other PECs worldwide, will offer options for Porsche customers to try or buy performance parts at the PEC.

The PEC will be located next to Changi Exhibition Centre, on Aviation Park Road. It will occupy nine hectares of government land which is about 13 football fields.

HMGICS will also provide flexible vehicle customisation and VR factory tours to make their visitors’ experience a transformative one.
