The incident happened on 12/03/2020 at 5.22 p.m.

A Malaysian vehicle with car plate no. JRM 855 was caught beating the red light along Boon Lay way (towards Jurong East Direction).

Thankfully, the pedestrian crossing the road was alert before crossing, thereby averting an accident.

The penalty for not stopping at a red light is 12 demerit points, along with a fine of S$400 for drivers of light vehicles, and S$500 for drivers of heavy vehicles.
