Driver of SBT1221T did not stop behind the stop lines at the crossings
The stop lines are there to give pedestrians, cyclist and others a good space for safe crossing and also for drivers to be able to glance left and right to check for clear before moving car. These lines are ignored by many and will result in inconvenience and danger to pedestrians.
Offences committed at zebra crossings is 6 demerit points and a $150 fine.
Happened on 30/12/19 1750 hours.
