LTA recieved 30,000 applications for disposing of PMDs
Today is the last day for getting $100 incentives for disposing PMDs. Starting from 3pm, there was a long queue of people outside LTA at Sin Min wanting to dispose their non-UL2272 PMDs on the last day.
Starting from next year to end of March, people can still dispose of their PMDS, but they don’t get the $100 incentives. Starting from next July, non-UL2272 isn’t allowed on public path.
After the ban of PMDs on pavement, more than 6,000 warnings have been given out on December, twice as much as on November. The ban will be strictly enforced from tomorrow onward.
